Most of the shells we capture through photography are found at the eulitoraal of Oostkapelle, where we often walk. This part of the coast is subject to average tides both low and high and falls wet and dry with every tide. Apart from that the surrounding dune and forest area is also very rich of plant and tree species that when looking closely provide so much color and texture. The aim of Fern Alia is to highlight this richness we often overlook or perhaps take for granted.

Giving back

We recognise the efforts of maintenance taking place in the coastal area of Zeeland, what influence tourism has and how nature and culture are balanced in these areas. therefore we decided to donate parts of the proceeds to organisation Het Zeeuwse Landschap that helps to protect and preserve these coastal areas in Zeeland.

We ship across the EU and internationally. Shipping times and costs vary by destination and are calculated at checkout. EU orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days.

Print quality / materials used

All prints are produced on museum-quality paper using archival inks, ensuring exceptional colour accuracy and longevity. Each print is carefully inspected before dispatch.

Return or exchange policy

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for undamaged items in their original packaging. Please contact us to initiate a return or exchange.

Limited edition details / numbering

Limited edition prints are individually numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity. Once an edition sells out, it will not be reprinted.

How to frame or care for prints

We recommend framing your print behind UV-protective glass to preserve colours over time. Keep prints away from direct sunlight and humidity for best results.
